Hi - I'm Kirk!, A passionate South Australian born in the beautiful wine region of McLaren Vale.
Being a regular business traveller over the past 30 years, I’m always looking for ways to make life easier and more organised….hence my idea for The Original Stand Up!
Some may suggest that I’m not the most IT savvy bloke (preferring numbers and stat’s, I’m the guy that fixes the DVD player by banging it - works every time), but I know The Original Stand Up will be a useful product to many people around the globe!
When I have spare time, I love relaxing with my beautiful and smart wife, walking our spoodle Maple, playing monopoly or minecraft with the kids (ok they may be enjoying that a tad more than me!!!) watching sport, cooking up a storm (minus coriander as that poison ruins everything), enjoying a cold beer now and then, or even trying a spot of fishing. I’ve had the luxury of having my family join me on many business trips and together we’ve made awesome travel memories around the world.
I love to rise early, make a perfect coffee, listen to some relaxing jazz, sit outside and plan my day.

Well where do I start, British born, but call Australia home for 40+ years.
Its been a while since I was in the corporate world sitting at a desk for 10 hours a day, but way back when, I worked for some major corporates in marketing/sponsorship & events.
It was a super fun, especially my time at the Australian Football League.
Retiring from the corporate world to have two crazy boys, once the boys were sorted in school I followed my passion of a career helping people and dabbled in Hypnotherapy and many alternate therapies. What a rewarding time that was.
My husband will tell you, I run away from paperwork, I’m more the creative type and can be regularly heard joking that ‘I’m just the talent’ when trying to outsource all the bits I don’t love.
I love to travel with my family & friends, see shows, walk our dog on the beach, and I can often be found on my ‘STANDUP’ paddle board cruising down the coast.
I love a good catch up with my girlfriends (when women gather, the world changes) and a perfect cup of tea; there’s never a shortage of tea varieties, teapots, cups and mugs in my house.
I’ve always said that common sense isn’t so common and my pet hate is folks that don’t know how to merge in traffic!
I’ve had so many crazy business ideas over the years, I know a good idea when I see it, so when it came to the STANDUP, I knew I had to get involved. So together with my husband and brother-in law, I’m standing up and getting it done!
Hi - I'm Ty, but everyone calls me Cheese.
I have been a business high school teacher for the past 25 years. Prior to that world, I’ve managed retail fashion stores around Australia and while in London in my early 20’s I did the Pub thing. I even worked in a CD store, back when that was a thing!!
More importantly, I am Dad to my gorgeous “pigeon pair” and black Labrador “Rockstar”.
I value my friends and family beyond words. I mess around on the drums and mic in a band called “The Groove”, even been a part of the Adelaide Fringe a couple of times.
Spotify tells me the Beatles are my favourite band and that I listened to 680 hours of music last year!
I love to travel and have explored most parts of OZ and over 30 countries around the world, my favourite place of all is New York City.
I am a keen sports fan, cricket and footy being my favs and as an Adelaide Crows fan, I’m still reliving those spectacular last Saturdays in September in 1997/8!
A great movie or Disney+/ Netflix series is the way I fill the rest of my time. It is not without coincidence that all of this can be done on my smartphone. I reckon there are nearly 7 billion smartphones in the world all hanging out to be viewed on a StandUp!
